A critical performance requirement is the ability to direct consultantís activities, conduct design reviews/optimize designs, develop design requirements document, define RFP deliverables, and manage all work to the prescribed deadlines.
The Project Engineering Lead must coordinate with other project stakeholders to identify and develop a transmission line route, suitable substation site, support the engineering data, and permits necessary to design and develop the project, including geotechnical and lidar data. Activities include competitively sourcing, selecting and contracting geotechnical, survey, engineering, and construction services, and supporting the E&C Cost Estimating Team with scope assumptions.
The position is responsible for coordinating the engineering deliverables in support of NEETís FERC Order 1000 competitive request for proposals (RFP). Deliverables include scope of work documents, proposal technical content, RFPs for engineering services, input to presentations for management review, and vetting of technical solution against cost estimate assumptions.
